　　《快乐汉语》栏目采用情景剧的形式，在各种生活场景中“实战教授汉语”，让观众在生动幽默的情节里、轻松愉悦的环境中“快乐学汉语”,同时把中国文化融入其中, 立体展示当代中国的众多现实场景，折射今日中国的独特魅力。这也是央视汉语教学类节目的一种全新尝试。
　　栏目开播后，受到了海内外观众的热烈欢迎。栏目受众群体主要为外国朋友、女性观众及青少年群体。应广大观众的需求，旅游汉语系列的拍摄项目于2010年年初启动，赴成都拍摄了第一个系列的节目。并将从2010年5月起在国际频道播出。我们还将继续选择有代表性的特色旅游城市，通过打造偶像式的俊男靓女及吸引人的故事情节，以系列“青春偶像风光剧”的方式进行拍摄（每个系列拍摄20--30集）。它将更多角度的融入当今时尚元素，成为集幽默与大气为一体的新派教学类情景剧。

　　《快乐汉语》的口号是：学说中国话，朋友遍天下！我们希望通过《快乐汉语》能够全方位、多角度地加强推广汉语的力度，使更多的外国人有机会了解中国社会，了解中国文化，更好地推动中国文化走向世界。

新版《快乐学汉语》节目播出后，受到了广大海内外观众和专业人士的普遍好评，收视率排行连创新高。目前，该栏目在国内已经拥有了一个相对稳定的受众群。特别是在海外，《快乐学汉语》在美国、德国、意大利、澳大利亚、法国、英国、瑞士、瑞典、芬兰、加拿大、新西兰、沙特阿拉伯、缅甸、泰国、南非、洪都拉斯、奥地利、哥斯达黎加等33个国家的70多个城市都拥有一批忠实的热心观众。节目在海外的影响正逐步扩大。

另外，随着节目影响力的扩大，来自海内外的许多文化传播公司都提出了要求代理《快乐学汉语》节目的海内外发行权和播映权。埃及的“开罗中国文化中心”已将《快乐学汉语》节目，作为该中心汉语教学的教材。越南电视台也与中央电视台达成协议，2005年全年的《快乐学汉语》节目将会在越南播出。

国家对外汉语教学领导小组办公室也计划于全球开办的100所孔子学院中，将《快乐学汉语》节目作为教材使用。此外，节目组也与北京语言大学出版社达成协议，将分批出版该节目的教材与光盘，在全世界发行。
