What is outstanding about Peter’s teaching is his ability to explain the patterns of the Chinese language. Once you’ve grasped these patterns or structures it’s easy to fill them in with various words or ideas. Peter understands how the language works and is good at explaining it. What is more, Peter’s English is very good. For a beginner like me, this is an important quality.

I was also struck by Peter’s professionalism. This isn’t a glorified language exchange (unless you want it to be!) but serious study of the Chinese language with an experienced and skilled teacher. Peter is always willing to tailor his lessons to your individual needs.

Finally, I would like to express my appreciation for Peter’s attitude. He is friendly and generous. His prices are very fair and he explains his pricing structure clearly, helping you to get the best deal.

All in all: highly recommended.
